Dr Seuss Birthday Party

I absolutely loved planning and hosting this Dr Seuss Birthday Party!  There were so many fun themes and characters that the choices were endless.  After being inspired by Dr Seuss Baby Showers’ at Kara’s Party Ideas and Stem Parties I came up with this fabulous party!

Fun Dr. Seuss Birthday Party Ideas

I painted and cut out over 20 truffula trees taller than me!  I also painted Thing 1 and Thing 2 charicatures to go over photographs of the Birthday Boys.

dr seuss birthday party food green eggs and hamGreen Eggs and Ham were, of course, a must have on the buffet table!

dr seuss birthday party games grinch ideasWe had the children play ‘Pin the heart on the Grinch’ as we all know – his heart is two sizes too small!

dr seuss birthday party ideas favors decorThe party favour table – it wouldn’t be a Dr Seuss party if the Cat in the Hat weren’t in attendance!

dr seuss birthday party thing 1 twinThing 1 ready to have his cake and eat it too!  His twin brother, Thing 2, never remained very presentable as he was wont to pull off his hair!

This party was a BLAST and I hope the photos and ideas have inspired you to host your own Dr. Seuss inspired birthday party!

I would have never thought to use The Cat In The Hat as a theme! It’s awesome!

Did you make the “pin the heart on the grinch game yourself”? If so, where did you find the image of the grinch?

Yes, I painted all of the figures – I found an image online that I used as an example.

I tryed to click on your link for “it’s my party” and it says it is not available. Do you know why? I loved your party ideas and am throwing my own dr.suess party for two of my boys for their birthday’s and am trying to gather all of the info and idea’s that I can. Thanks so much!
